Job Description:
Join our emergency department team in Peoria, Illinois, as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift contract. You'll be working in a Level 1 trauma facility that handles everything from newborn emergencies to critically ill adult patients, including cardiac arrests, strokes, and trauma cases. Your role will involve managing a diverse patient population, titrating various Drips such as vasopressors and cardiac medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes attending physicians, mid-level providers, and ED techs. This assignment offers you the chance to sharpen your skills in acute care, with support from specialized trauma nurses and seasoned staff. Bring your quick decision-making, adaptability, and experience to this fast-paced environment where each shift can be both challenging and rewarding.
