Job Description:

This travel RN assignment places you in a fast-paced Med Surg / Ortho unit where you'll perform a variety of patient care tasks for a diverse adult population. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing care for patients recovering from surgeries such as total knees, hips, and shoulder replacements, as well as managing conditions like COPD, diabetes, wounds, and sepsis. You'll have the opportunity to sharpen your skills in a setting that values bedside bedside reporting and hourly rounding, while supporting a team that includes nurse aides, techs, and monitor techs. The unit emphasizes adaptability, so candidates who enjoy learning new protocols and working independently will thrive here. Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality support, administering titratable IV medications (excluding drips), and ensuring patient comfort during your shift.
