Job Description:

Join a fast-paced emergency department in Yuma, Arizona, working 12-hour night shifts in a Level 2 trauma center that handles approximately 300 patient visits daily. This role requires at least two years of recent ER experience, specifically with trauma Level I or II cases, including familiarity with complex emergencies such as gunshot wounds and stabbings. The candidate will manage a wide range of urgent situations, from STEMIs and strokes to trauma and critical care, utilizing Epic EMR and a variety of advanced equipment like Glidescope and Phillips vents. Expect to collaborate closely with a team of ED physicians, mid-level providers, and specialized ED techs, performing duties such as blood draws, vitals, splints, and general patient stabilization. The environment features dedicated imaging in the ER and multiple fast track and triage areas, providing diverse and engaging emergency medicine experience in a supportive setting.
