Job Description:

Join our team as a Neuro ICU RN on a travel contract in Phoenix, AZ, where you'll operate within a specialized 48-bed unit focusing on neurological conditions such as epilepsy, brain tumors, and traumatic brain injuries. This role involves managing complex neuro patients, performing assessments, and responding swiftly to subtle changes in patient status. You'll participate in a comprehensive SIMs Lab covering Foley catheter insertions, central line dressing changes, lifts, restraints, and wound care, with specific procedures depending on the facility. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, with a possibility of floating to MedSurg/Tele floors, and engage in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and sterile technique are essential. Don’t forget your certification in BLS and ACLS—BSN is preferred—and bring at least two years of experience to navigate this high-acuity setting successfully.
