Job Description:

This RN contract placement on the 4th Floor North & South of the Med Surg/Tele unit offers a hands-on experience managing patients recovering from joint replacements, fractures, GI surgeries, and various orthopedic traumas. You'll be responsible for monitoring post-op patients, titrating drips like Heparin, and interpreting telemetry strips with the support of Tele techs. Expect a fast-paced environment where efficiency and teamwork are key. The nurse’s role is pivotal in providing responsive, compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including individuals from Spanish, Karen, and Burmese communities. A focus on hourly rounding and quick adaptability makes this assignment both challenging and rewarding, highlighting your ability to manage multiple discharges and admissions daily with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
