Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract places you in a bustling hospital setting where you'll work 12-hour night shifts. Your role involves managing adult to geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including high-volume ventilator cases and arterial lines. You'll titrate continuous infusions of sedation, pain medications, paralytics, and vasopressors, while participating in multidisciplinary rounds each morning alongside intensivists, pharmacists, therapists, and other specialists. The assignment offers the chance to experience a wide range of critical care scenarios, making each night both challenging and rewarding. Expect to handle central line placements, attend codes, and assist with ICU admissions, all while using Epic and Pyxis systems.
