Job Description:
Join a 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit as an experienced RN ready to handle high-acuity obstetric cases. You will be responsible for managing labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a setting where the patient load requires precise monitoring and swift action. The role includes floating to other nearby units as needed, providing an engaging opportunity to adapt to different clinical environments. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, offering a balanced work-life dynamic. Prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience are essential. Certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required, along with completion of an intermediate Fetal Monitoring course. Advanced fetal monitoring and EFM certification are preferred, and a degree accreditation or five years of experience must be verified. The electronic medical records system used is Epic, and scrubs should be Galaxy Blue and/or White. This assignment offers a chance to be part of a team that values hard work and professionalism while experiencing a vibrant community setting.
