Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Med Surg RN in Grand Island, Nebraska, where your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and comfort. This role involves caring for a variety of medical-surgical patients in a 32-bed acute care setting that includes all levels of care—Med Surg, PCU, and ICU—in the same space. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, executing supportive interventions, and providing education to both patients and families. The shift is 12-hour nights, offering a chance to experience the unique quiet and camaraderie of overnight care. You'll bring at least two years of hospital Med Surg experience, with familiarity in total joint replacements and abdominal surgeries, to help keep this rapidly growing facility running smoothly. As part of your duties, you'll utilize equipment such as Wound Vacs and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
