Job Description:

Join us as a CVICU Registered Nurse on a 16-week travel contract at a top-tier acute care facility in St. Louis. This assignment involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized cardiac ICU care in a high-acuity environment. You'll be managing patients with complex cardiac conditions, including ventilator and arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheters, pacemakers, LVADs, impellas, and other advanced technologies. The role offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a Magnet and Level I Trauma Center, working alongside a dedicated team in a dynamic, fast-paced setting that values expertise and professionalism.

Job Specifics:

Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Shift: Night 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Duration: 16 weeks
Coverage: 36 hours per week, with the possibility of signing for 36 or 48 hours
Weekly Gross: Approximately $1,928.52
Experienced required: Minimum 2 years in cardiac/CVICU ICU, with specific skills in ventilator management, arterial lines, pulmonary artery monitoring, LVADs, Impellas, balloon pumps, and management of complex cardiac emergencies. Must pass Relias EKG exam and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. Must have active license or be in process of obtaining one, with no neuro ICU experience needed. Flexible within scope to float as required and limited time off permitted within contract guidelines.
