Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on a 37-bed step-down unit specializing in cardiac, neuro, and surgical patients. As a travel RN, you'll work 12-hour night shifts, from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, providing vital support during the overnight hours. Your role involves managing telemetry monitors, administering blood products, and delivering cardiac drips such as Heparin, all while charting efficiently in EPIC. The unit's pace requires experienced nurses familiar with unit-specific protocols and capable of floating to MSO, Ortho, and even ICU to care for non-critical patients. Expect to support a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, contributing to quality care on a busy, diverse unit. This assignment offers a rewarding environment for seasoned nurses looking to utilize and deepen their specialized skills for a 13-week period.
