Job Description:

This outpatient oncology RN role involves administering chemotherapy infusions, managing patient assessments, and providing essential education to cancer patients across a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors, GYN, breast, and hematology. The nurse will work a consistent 8-hour day shift in a busy clinic setting with up to 8 patients daily, engaging in chart checks, medication reconciliation, and rooming patients with a team-oriented approach. The assignment offers a chance to gain specialized oncology experience, with a focus on broad patient care rather than highly subspecialized treatments. Experience with EPIC Ambulatory is required, and the environment supports collaborative communication with physicians, pharmacists, and support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned RN to apply their oncology skills in a stable outpatient setting, with a few minor holidays scheduled during the assignment.
