Job Description:

Join Arkansas Children's Hospital as a pediatric specialist in the 5D Progressive Care Unit, where you'll be caring for young patients from birth to 21 years with complex medical needs. This 13-bed unit offers a chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on children requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing invasive and non-invasive ventilators, administering IV therapies, and providing specialized pediatric care to children facing traumatic injuries, burns, or pulmonary conditions. This assignment is unique for its emphasis on pediatric ICU support, requiring hands-on experience with ventilators and trachs, all while collaborating with a team that includes physicians, therapists, and child life specialists.
