Job Description:

Join a specialized pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) team at the Children's Hospital of New Jersey within Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for a 13-week travel contract. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) in a fast-paced environment that challenges your critical care skills. The role involves floating to Pediatrics and NICU as needed, offering a varied and engaging workload. Expect to care for up to 19 critically ill children in a 1:2+ patient ratio, utilizing your expertise with Medtronic pacemakers, ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP, and other advanced respiratory support devices. You'll also demonstrate proficiency with the EPIC charting system and carry out high-level patient monitoring. This assignment is perfect for experienced PICU nurses with at least three years of critical care, including one year of cardiac experience, who thrive under the adrenaline of night shifts and flexible unit coverage.
