Job Description:

Join a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room specializing in complex heart surgeries such as CABG and valve replacements. This contract role requires a CVOR nurse with at least two years of experience in cardiovascular surgery. You'll be responsible for scrub duties, interpreting EKG strips, and supporting surgeries ranging from 4 to 6 procedures daily. The schedule involves 8-hour shifts with variable hours, including call rotations overnight and on weekends—covering three weekend days per month. Expect to work alongside a skilled team, including charge nurses, CSTs, and an IV team, in an environment that demands confidence and strong technical skills. Telemetry and ventilator skills are a plus. This setting offers a steady rhythm of activity and the chance to refine your CVOR expertise while contributing to life-saving procedures.
