Job Description:

Join a specialized ER Registered Nurse role within the Oncology Intensive Care Center (ICC). In this position, you'll float between the ICC and emergency department units, managing a variety of patients with conditions such as sickle cell crises, fever, abdominal pain, and dehydration. The ICC provides a calmer environment than a traditional ER, where you'll have the chance to build strong relationships with colleagues and develop diverse skills while supporting patients through urgent and non-urgent situations. Your expertise with EPIC, along with BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, will be vital as you help stabilize patients and facilitate their journey to discharge or admission. This assignment offers a unique blend of fast-paced decision-making and thoughtful patient interaction in a supportive team setting.
