Job Description:
Join a dedicated neuro and stroke unit as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift. In this role, you’ll be providing crucial care to patients recovering from neurological events, including stroke, and managing acute neuro conditions. The position involves performing neuro assessments, dysphagia screenings, stroke evaluations, and managing post-stroke patients in a busy, well-equipped hospital setting. This assignment offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team that values professionalism and adaptability while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being. Expect to engage in interdisciplinary communication, utilize Cerner EMR, and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency while managing a patient load of 1:6.
