Job Description:

Join our healthcare team as a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Attleboro, Massachusetts. You'll be responsible for preparing patients for surgery and helping them recover safely in a unit that handles orthopedics, gynecology, urology, general, spine, vascular, and some eye procedures. The role involves managing a small pediatric population, mainly involving tonsil and adenoid cases along with pediatric emergency procedures from the ED—but infants are typically not part of the caseload. Expect to work day shifts that begin between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, with staggered start times, and a consistent schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. The environment includes the use of Omnicell medication systems and Cerner documentation, with a focus on maintaining safety and efficiency during recovery. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS, with a preference for those with prior acute PACU experience. This assignment offers a blend of challenging cases and team collaboration in a well-organized setting, with occasional on-call shifts for weekends and weeknights.
