Job Description:

Step into a rewarding travel assignment in the Labor & Delivery High Risk Unit at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, where you'll be the trusted professional managing 12-hour night shifts. This role calls for experienced registered nurses with a strong background in ECG interpretation and immediate newborn care—your expertise will be vital in supporting a busy birth center that handles around 4,000 deliveries annually. You'll circulate and recover during cesarean sections, ensuring smooth procedures in a facility recognized as a Level 2 trauma center and a designated comprehensive stroke and chest pain center. The unit includes 19 labor rooms, antepartum rooms, recovery areas, triage rooms, operating suites, and a dedicated Mother Baby unit. Expect to work with a nurse-patient ratio of 2:1 and engage with a team focused on high-quality maternity care in a lively hospital environment. The assignment offers opportunities to refine your skills in a setting that values experienced professionals and provides scheduling flexibility with options to work on alternate shifts monthly.
