Job Description:

Join our team for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment at a facility located in Albemarle, NC, as a Registered Nurse in MedSurg/Telemetry. In this role, you'll be providing vital patient care for cases such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, altered mental status, and GI bleed. The unit is relatively small, with an average census of 20 patients, and you'll work 12-hour day shifts, giving you plenty of opportunity to enjoy your off days. Expect to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage chest tubes, start IVs, and perform assessments including NIH stroke scale evaluations. While the workflow can be busy, your skills in managing high-acuity patients will shine.
