Job Description:

Join a busy Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Wausau, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel contract that offers a mix of challenging cases and rewarding experiences. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., floating between the MS ICU and Neuro ICU units, with the possibility of assisting in other critical care or inpatient units as needed. This role is ideal for a resilient RN with at least two years of MedSurg and ICU experience, especially those with a strong neuro background. Expect to manage complex neuro patient cases including stroke care, cerebral monitoring, drains, vents, and drains, sometimes involving CRRT patients. The unit handles Level 2 trauma patients, including motorcycle, snowmobile, and logging accident casualties, offering a variety of cases that keep you engaged and on your toes.
