Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of PCU Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment in New Albany, Indiana. You'll be performing specialized nursing tasks in a unit that handles cardiac telemetry, ER holding, and stepdown care, including managing cardiac drips like Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin, along with insulin drips and respiratory distress patients (excluding ventilator care). This role involves night shifts of 12 hours, offering an engaging opportunity to work with a variety of clinical cases on a busy unit. The work setting anticipates on-call hours and floating, with a patient ratio of 1:5, utilizing Epic for documentation. Accepting first-time travelers with at least 2 years of RN experience, previous charge nurse experience is a plus, and BLS/ACLS are required. Prior work in Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, MS/Tele, or similar settings will help you excel in this role.
