Job Description:

This position is for a skilled healthcare professional ready to take on a cardiac stepdown role in Albany, Georgia. You'll be working in units dedicated to cardiac patients, including those recovering from thoracic surgery, cardiovascular procedures, and managing complex conditions like CHF and arrhythmias. The shift is 12-hour nights, where your expertise in interpreting strips, managing drips such as Cardizem and amiodarone, and coordinating care for post-surgical patients is essential. Expect a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover — around 32-38 patients— requiring quick thinking and attention to detail. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain in-depth cardiovascular experience, supporting patients through critical recovery stages while working with a dedicated team in a well-equipped setting.
