Job Description:

Join this exciting ER Registered Nurse contract assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where you'll be on the front lines of emergency care for admitted patients. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, primarily covering the Emergency Department with a mix of trauma and level I trauma experience preferred. The workload involves medication administration, including IV medications, documenting clinical findings, and adapting to fluctuating patient admit levels—about 60% to 80% of the ER patients are admitted. This role offers the opportunity to develop your trauma skills, float within your scope to different ER areas, and work with a staffing ratio of 1:5 in a bustling, high-acuity environment. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred but candidates with over 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience will be considered. No local candidates within 100 miles are accepted, and the assignment guarantees contracted hours per week, with some flexibility for scheduled time off.
