Job Description:

This 13-week travel healthcare contract in Wheeling, West Virginia, offers a rewarding opportunity for Registered Nurses experienced in acute care settings. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing vital support on a busy inpatient unit that handles conditions like CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and urosepsis. Expect to collaborate with a charge RN and a team of PCTs, managing patient needs efficiently while adhering to a 1:6 or 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role involves titrating heparin drips based on APTT results and maintaining a vigilant remote telemonitoring system. To succeed, you'll need current BLS and NIHSS certifications, as well as the flexibility to float as needed.
