Job Description:

Join a travel assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Peri Anesthesia unit at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME. This role involves working in a 19-bed pre-op/same day surgery area and a 12-bed phase I PACU, where you'll be responsible for managing patients recovering from various surgical procedures. With a variety of case types—from ENT and orthopedics to vascular and thoracic surgeries—you’ll need to stay sharp and adaptable. Your day will include arterial line management, rhythm recognition, procedural sedation, and caring for a diverse patient population, all while adhering to safety protocols in a Level III Trauma Center. This assignment offers the chance to develop skills in a teaching hospital environment, with opportunities to work independently and occasionally float to other units. Expect a steady schedule of 12-hour days, with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly, a call requirement, and a friendly team ready to support your success.
