Job Description:

Join the Nebraska Medicine Wound Ostomy Clinic as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you'll work weekdays in our outpatient clinic, focusing on wound care and ostomy management. Your days will be dedicated to supporting patients with chronic, diabetic, vascular, or surgical wounds through comprehensive evaluations, advanced dressings, and patient education. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, providing a mixture of clinical assessments, wound treatments such as negative pressure therapy, and ostomy services from pre-surgical marking to post-surgical follow-up. This assignment offers a steady routine, without weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts, allowing you to hone your skills in a fast-paced yet supportive outpatient setting. The clinic is committed to a nicotine-free environment, emphasizing health and safety for both staff and patients.
