Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department as an ER Registered Nurse on this 13-week contract in Lee's Summit, Missouri. You'll be staffing night shifts of 12 hours, providing critical care in a combined adult and pediatrics setting that is both Stroke and STEMI certified. This assignment offers the unique experience of managing a wide variety of cases—from pediatric emergencies like asthma and seizures to adult trauma involving head injuries and respiratory emergencies. Expect to perform IV therapy and phlebotomy, interpret cardiac rhythms, and handle complex medications such as IV paralytics and vasopressors. The role involves floating between various departments as needed, including multiple facilities within the regional hospital network, giving you a broader scope of practice. Strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly are essential, along with adherence to all required certifications such as BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, and PALS.
