Job Description:

This travel RN role is centered in a dedicated Cardiac Intensive Care Unit setting, where you'll be performing advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions. You'll handle complex cases including post-op CABG, heart and lung transplants, and cardiogenic shock, utilizing specialized therapies like VV/VA ECMO, Impella, CRRT, and IABP. The assignment demands proficiency in reading EKG rhythms, managing vasoactive drips, and responding swiftly to critical shifts in patient status. Expect to float between CICU and CVICU, as well as other related units, providing your expertise where most needed. The schedule includes every other weekend and one major winter holiday, offering a rewarding yet balanced work experience.

Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Shift: 12-hour shifts, floating between units as needed
