Join a dedicated CVICU team in Falls Church, VA, where you'll be at the forefront of cardiac critical care. This contract role is perfect for experienced cardiac ICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy complex, high-acuity cases. You'll manage post-op CABG patients, heart and lung transplant recipients, and those in cardiogenic shock, working with advanced therapy modalities like ECMO, IABP, and Impella. The role offers a chance to hone your skills in interpreting EKG rhythms, titrating vasoactive drips, and managing advanced cardiac devices. Expect to float between the CVICU and CICU, alongside other ICU units, demonstrating your versatility and clinical expertise.
