Job Description:

Join a Transplant ICU as a registered nurse for a rewarding 13-week travel assignment in Washington, DC. You'll be working primarily during night shifts, 3 days a week, 12 hours each shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role involves managing complex post-surgical transplant patients, including those with multi-system organ failure, neurological concerns, and critical renal conditions. You'll get to handle advanced protocols such as ICP monitoring, external ventricular drains, and hypothermia therapy, making each shift both challenging and engaging. No on-call duties are required, and you'll have the opportunity to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels, gaining broad experience with critical care populations. Bring your expertise in dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, and infection control to this specialized environment—your skills will truly shine here.
