Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you on a busy surgical unit specializing in post-transplant and pre-transplant care. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse patient caseload, including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant recipients, as well as patients undergoing evaluation for pending transplants. Your role involves closely monitoring patient responses to medications and procedures, administering IV therapies, and assisting physicians with minor diagnostic tasks. You'll also coordinate family communication and collaborate with support staff to ensure optimal care. This position combines the fast-paced environment of a surgical floor with the nuanced needs of transplant patients, making it a unique and rewarding challenge for experienced nurses.
