Job Description:

Join a dedicated emergency department team at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. As an ER professional, you'll be performing a wide range of procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocols with tPA administration, and central line placement, all while managing a patient ratio of 4-6:1. This role requires a friendly, team-oriented attitude and a focus on delivering high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. Your experience in high-volume ERs with patient ratios of 5:1 will help you excel in this role, alongside your certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. No on-call duties are required, but weekends are scheduled to ensure adequate coverage. Expect to collaborate with a knowledgeable staff of 50 RNs and 25 Medics, providing vital support during each shift and making a real difference for patients during critical moments.
