Job Description:

Join a specialized Cardiac Progressive Care Unit as a registered nurse, where you'll be at the forefront of cardiac patient monitoring and treatment. This role involves managing patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, and those pre- or post-cardiac procedures. You'll use advanced skills like telemetry interpretation, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, and supporting procedures like cardiac caths and chest tube management. The schedule offers 3-day shifts of 12 hours each, primarily daytime hours, with a chance to experience the rhythm of hospital life in a vibrant medical environment. Expect to collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including nurse assistants and support staff, all focused on delivering precise cardiac care in a busy but rewarding setting. This contract provides a great opportunity for first-time travel nurses to gain valuable experience in a state-of-the-art facility while working on complex cardiac cases in a lively hospital.
