Job Description:

This 16-week travel contract offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses specialized in stepdown, IMC, or PCU settings. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (with the possibility of 4x12s if preferred) in a busy hospital environment that handles complex cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and trauma cases. Your role will involve interpreting dysrhythmias, managing telemetry-monitoring equipment, and providing care for post-cardiac procedures, stroke patients, and trauma cases. Expect to float within your scope to meet unit needs, all while delivering high-quality patient monitoring and emergency response. Active Illinois licensure, BLS, and NIH certifications are required, with ACLS preferred. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses eager to apply their skills in a dynamic setting that demands both technical proficiency and clinical judgment.
