Job Description:

Join a busy cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment, working weekend nights. This role involves managing stable pre- and post-procedure cardiac patients, including those with pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and those recovering from cardiac catheterizations. You'll monitor patients on various drips such as Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone, and be comfortable with fast-paced turnover of 78 to 90 patients weekly. The unit housing COVID-positive patients using OptiFlow and BIPAP offers a unique, challenging environment where quick thinking and adaptability are essential. Your duties will include titrating medications, managing telemetry, and handling on-call requirements—all within a setting that demands efficiency and precision.
