Job Description:

As a travel Registered Nurse specializing in orthopedic and medical/surgical units, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role requires performing comprehensive initial assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and adjusting interventions based on patient progress. Expect to set up orthopedics traction devices, monitor wound appliances like wound vacs and drains, and educate patients on mobility, self-care, and medication management. Your expertise with the EPIC system and Trauma 1 certification will be key to ensuring seamless care delivery during your 13-week assignment working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
