Job Description:

Join our surgical team as a Certified Surgical First Assistant in a fast-paced operating room setting. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures, including sterile instrument handling, sterilization processes, and maintaining accurate instrument tracking. You'll be working 3 shifts per week of 12 hours each, primarily during daytime hours. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with advanced technology such as Mako and DaVinci systems, and you may be asked to float to labor and delivery or OB units for C-sections and other emergent procedures. NDSTSA certification and BLS are required, along with at least two years of surgical assistant experience and travel experience. The schedule includes weekend call duties, and flexibility to assist with urgent cases is essential.
