Job Description:

Join the team as an ICU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Roanoke, Virginia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across all ICU and PCU units, providing critical care in a Level I Trauma Center setting. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with a patient ratio of 2:1 in ICU and 5:1 in PCU. The position requires agility, as staffing needs are re-evaluated every four hours, meaning you might float 2-3 times per shift. Expect to work weekends and at least one holiday during your assignment, with a total weekly commitment of 36 hours. This position is perfect for experienced ICU nurses comfortable with charting in EPIC, managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, and administering emergency medications. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a large, highly regarded facility while enjoying the chance to immerse yourself in the local community’s vibrant culture. This assignment is tailored for nurses with at least two years of ICU experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
