Job Description:

Join the ICU team at TriStar StoneCrest in Smyrna, TN, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll provide critical care to a 16-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, utilizing GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispensers, and Drager ventilators. Your expertise in ventilator and sedation management, medication titration, and procedures like trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion will help ensure seamless patient care. Expect a collaborative environment with unit secretaries, tech support, and a focus on communication standards like AIDET and medication teaching. The setting offers opportunities to work with advanced equipment and experienced staff, making this an engaging and rewarding assignment.
