Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract offers a comprehensive opportunity for registered nurses to work in a Med Surg / Ortho setting with a 12-hour night shift schedule. You'll be responsible for caring for patients recovering from procedures such as total knee, hip, ankle, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine surgeries. Expect to manage patient needs, administer medications including pain and antibiotics, and read telemetry strips using teleboxes. The role emphasizes teamwork and flexibility in a charge nurse structure, with a focus on providing high-quality care to an average of six patients per shift. This assignment is particularly suited to nurses who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are eager to broaden their clinical experience in a supportive unit.
