Job Description:

Join us for an exciting travel assignment as an ICU Registered Nurse in Metairie, Louisiana, where you'll be part of a dedicated team providing critical care in a fast-paced ICU setting. This role involves performing patient assessments, managing ventilators, administering medications, and handling lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts. You'll be floating across all ICUs, as well as occasionally supporting the ED or PACU, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care around the clock. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, giving you quiet evening hours along with the opportunity to experience local nightlife and culture. Prepare to use advanced equipment like Alaris IV Pumps, Servo ventilators, and GE Monitors, among others. This assignment offers a chance to refine your skills in a vibrant community while working in an environment that values adaptability and preparation.
