Job Description:

Join a bustling medical-surgical and stroke unit in Lafayette, Indiana, where you'll be a key player in caring for diverse patient needs. This 13-week travel contract involves 12-hour day shifts, providing ample opportunity to experience the dynamic environment of a short-term acute care facility. As an RN on this unit, you'll work with patients with complex conditions such as oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary issues. Your solid neuro experience will be essential, especially when managing unstable stroke cases and BiPap therapy. You'll handle drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, and Insulin, and assist with post-procedure care for heart cath and pacemaker patients.
