Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Intensive Medical Care (IMC) unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be responsible for managing patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory compromise, CHF, COPD, and post-op care including heart caths and ablations. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work in a well-equipped environment with advanced monitoring, including telemetry and central line care, and to collaborate closely with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists. Your days will involve starting PIVs, managing multiple medication drips like insulin and vasopressors, and documenting care in Meditech. The 12-hour night shifts provide a quiet but active nocturnal rhythm, with the chance to experience a diverse case mix and develop your skills in a supportive setting that values autonomy and teamwork.
