Job Description:

Join us as an Operating Room Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week travel contract in the vibrant city of New Orleans. This role is perfect for experienced OR nurses eager to work in a fast-paced surgical environment. You'll be responsible for supporting diverse surgical teams, including robotics, neuro, plastics, and orthopedic procedures. Expect night shifts that run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week. The position involves rotating weekends, on-call duties, and some late days, offering a balanced yet challenging work experience. Prepare to float to other surgical specialties as needed, and bring your certifications—BLS is required, and ACLS is preferred—to ensure top-quality patient support. This assignment offers a unique chance to hone your skills across a variety of surgical disciplines while immersing yourself in the rich culture of New Orleans.
