Job Description:

This Travel Med Surg RN opportunity places you in a busy hospital setting where you'll be caring for a diverse patient population, including post-surgical, orthopedic, stroke, and telemetry monitored patients. The role involves performing tasks such as EKG monitoring, IV insertion, medication administration, Foley insertion, vital signs assessment, and assisting with rapid sequence intubation (RSI). You'll be expected to handle routine assessments and documentation, conduct point-of-care testing like blood glucose, and ensure smooth workflows across a 30-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. The assignment offers a great chance to gain experience in a fast-paced environment while adhering to flexible floating requirements and a night shift schedule. Job Specifics:

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7p-7:30a, every other week and every other weekend
Duration: 13 weeks, with an estimated weekly gross pay of $1,771.39 based on a 36-hour commitment per week
