Job Description:

Join the specialized team at the Southeast Heart & Vascular Institute, where you'll be supporting post-operative cardiac and vascular patients in a private, 32-bed unit. Your primary focus will be on assisting patients recovering from complex surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, LVAD, and heart transplants, as well as vascular procedures like AAA repair and femoral bypass. This role involves managing titratable drips including Heparin and Amiodarone, and interpreting strip readings with the help of in-unit Charge Nurses and House Supervisors. Expect to work three 12-hour night shifts per week in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering outstanding cardiac care in a setting noted for teamwork and quality.
