Job Description:

Join us in Carlsbad, New Mexico, for a 13-week travel occupational therapist role at Carlsbad Medical Center. You'll be working 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a busy inpatient setting that includes acute care. This position offers the chance to evaluate and treat physically disabled patients, develop tailored care plans, and participate in discharge planning—all with a patient ratio of 1:1. You'll use MedHost EMR and contribute to a team dedicated to restoring mobility and independence. Prior acute care OT experience and a valid NM or state license are required. This role is a perfect fit for therapists comfortable with fast-paced environments and committed to making a tangible difference in patients' recovery journeys.

Job Specifics:

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday with one Saturday per month and holidays required
Duration: 13 weeks (40 hours per week)
