Job Description:

Join us as a Radiologic Technologist I for a 12-week contract in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role involves producing diagnostic radiographic examinations, including portable X-rays in emergency rooms and operating rooms, often working independently in high-pressure situations such as trauma cases. You'll be responsible for patient positioning, equipment operation, and ensuring radiation safety through collimation and proper image identification. The position includes preparing contrast media, assisting physicians, and managing administrative tasks like scheduling and record-keeping. Work shifts are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with a schedule of 4 days a week, every third weekend, and holidays as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technologists comfortable in acute care settings, particularly those with OR and pediatric experience, to make a tangible difference during critical moments.
