Job Description:

Join us for a stepdown RN contract in Peoria, Illinois, where you'll be responsible for caring for a diverse group of patients with medical conditions such as COPD, CHF, DM, sepsis, and respiratory issues. This role involves managing trach and ventilated patients, including those on BiPAP, CPAP, and face masks, often with trach or ventilator support. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing hands-on care in a 20-bed unit featuring private and semi-private rooms. Experience with ICU/Intermediate skills and titrating drips like Cardene, Cardizem, and vasopressors is essential. Collaborate with charge nurses, house supervisors, and PCTs to deliver efficient patient care, and familiarize yourself with EPIC and unit-specific procedures during orientation. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment that demands expertise and adaptability.
