Job Description:

Join a well-established medical-surgical unit in a charming Michigan town for a 13-week travel contract as an experienced Med Surg RN. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients with conditions like CHF, COPD, and diabetes. This role offers the unique opportunity to float to the emergency department within your competency and manage a variety of medical-surgical challenges, all while gaining valuable experience in a 25-bed unit. As part of your duties, you'll utilize Epic EMR, Care Scape patient monitors, and Pyxis medication dispersion, ensuring smooth workflows. The assignment emphasizes a focus on general nursing skills, strong charting, and adaptability across different hospital units.
